The Adobe Mountain Railroad Museum and Park will have kids clamoring to ride a real steam engine! Open by donations and from the efforts of the Sahuaro Central Railroad Heritage Preservation Society, visitors are welcome to the authentic steam train tours through acres of replica models, including a working model 1884 locomotive.

The Arizona Game And Fish department stocks the Urban fishing lakes on an every-other-week schedule from October to July. Between July and September, the water temperature in the lakes rises too high to allow safe stocking of fish, so no stocking takes place. Luckily, anglers can easily drive to Payson, or Prescott to get their fishing fix, in the cool pine forests of central Arizona.
